### When does it start?

The championship kicks off on Friday 5th February 2027, with [Ireland](https://www.rugbystuff.com/collections/ireland-rugby "Ireland Rugby Shirts and Kit") hosting England under the lights at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. The Saturday sees Scotland hosting Italy at Scottish Gas Murrayfield before France take on Wales in Paris.

**A Friday Night First for Murrayfield**

The 2027 championship will feature the first ever Friday night Six Nations match at Murrayfield, when Scotland host Ireland in Round 4. It's a great fixture to get that treatment, even if the 8:10pm kick-off might test the patience of anyone travelling from the Central Belt.

**Le Crunch on Valentine's Day**

Round 2 brings one of international rugby's most anticipated fixtures, as England host France in Le Crunch at Twickenham on 14th February. A Valentine's Day date with some genuine edge to it.

**Super Saturday Decider**

Super Saturday builds towards a potential title decider in Dublin as Ireland host France in an 8:10pm kick-off that could decide the championship. If the form from the 2026 tournament carries over, that last match could be a serious occasion.
