## adidas RS15 Replacement Studs

adidas RS15 rugby boots use a 6mm (M6) thread - different from the M5 thread used by most other rugby boot brands including [Mizuno](https://www.rugbystuff.com/collections/mizuno-rugby-boots "Mizuno Rugby Boots") and [Canterbury](https://www.rugbystuff.com/collections/canterbury-rugby-boots "Canterbury Rugby Boots"). This means standard [replacement studs](https://www.rugbystuff.com/collections/rugby-studs-laces "rugby studs") from other brands won't fit, which is why RS15-specific studs are essential. We're one of the only UK retailers that carries adidas RS15 replacement studs as a standalone product.  
  
Studs are available in multiple lengths or as packs - 8mm for very firm conditions, 11mm for firmer conditions, 15mm as the standard all-round length, and 18mm for the heaviest wet pitches. Replace worn or snapped studs before they affect your grip rather than waiting until they become a problem on matchday.

When you buy RS15 boots new, they come supplied with 4 x 11mm studs at the front of each boot and 2 x 14mm studs at the back - a mixed configuration that works for standard conditions. 

## adidas TPU Plastic Replacement Studs

For very firm pitches in summer or artificial surfaces where metal studs aren't appropriate, the adidas TPU replacement stud pack is worth having in the kit bag.
