# Jackal Rugby

## What is a jackal?  

Jackalling happens in the second after a tackle. The tackler rolls away, the jackal gets over the ball, hands on, and fights for it before the ruck forms. Get it right and you've won a turnover, got the touchline on its feet and stopped the attack dead. Get it wrong and you're giving away a penalty while an 18-stone prop clears you into next week. Jackals go back in anyway.

## The Jackal attitude

You don't need to be a flanker to have it. It's the winger who chases a lost cause, the prop who makes one more tackle in the 79th minute, the junior who keeps putting their body on the line against kids twice their size. It's stubbornness, bravery and a refusal to be moved off the ball. Jackal Rugby is kit for players who train and play like that.

## Built to take a hammering

Players with the Jackal attitude spend a lot of time on the floor, in the ruck and at the bottom of piles, and their kit goes through it with them.
