Canterbury Rugby Boots 2015/16 - Boots For Your Position

by 1 June 22, 2015

Canterbury are the leading name in world rugby, and when it comes to rugby boots for the new season, the CCC logo is seen as a sign of true quality by players, coaches and parents alike. With a range of boots covering every position, there is something for everyone in the 2015/16 collection. The Phoenix Club in Black/Dresden Blue colourway has been developed through second row and back row forwards insights, from the very top professional level right down to grass roots players. The Adult version is available in both a moulded and 8-stud outsole, with reinforcement zones providing the durability and stability required as a loose forward. The children’s variant has been designed specifically to enhance performance and offer support needed for a junior player, and is also available as either a mouldie or a 6-stud. Canterbury’s Stampede in Black & True Red - available in adult and kid’s sizes - has been designed with front and second row forwards in mind, the wide fit last helping to increase comfort under pressure. Like the Phoenix, this rugby boot also comes with either a nylon 8 stud outsole in 6x2 configuration, or a TPU moulded sole, with reinforcement zones to provide durability and stability in rear, and flexibility in the forefoot. For the backs, the Canterbury Speed rugby boot in Dresden Blue/White has been created to give that little extra to players who desire more speed from their footwear. Specifically designed to cater for backs - and particularly the back 3 - the Speed Club features a lightweight 4x2 outsole, and a traditional lacing system to provide excellent fit and support around the midfoot. As with the Phoenix and Stampede, the Speed range is available in both Senior and Junior sizes. Rounding off the Canterbury boot range is the Control, perfect rugby boots for backs and juniors. This year, Canterbury have produced this boot in a stunning True Red/Black colourway, and this bright upper also features a 3D rubberised effect print. The asymmetrical lacing system helps create a larger area for contact with the rugby ball, ideal for the kicking specialists.
