Today, Wednesday 31st August 2016, sees the full release of the latest Macron Glasgow Warriors rugby range for the 2016/17 club season, with the new Home and Away kits released along with a camo training collection.

The new black Home “Centurions” kit pays tribute to the players who have worn the club’s colours 100 times or more, with their names sublimated into both side panels. It's a long list, with past stars such as Graeme Morrison, Al Kellock, Dougie Hall and Dan Parks joined by current players Ryan Wilson, Pat MacArthur and Rob Harley on the strip.

But no doubt the white Away shirt has provided the most talking points, thanks to the unfortunate placement of the Warriors logo! Just have a look at some of the comments we found on social media...

Away from the Warrior logo on the front, the side panels of the away shirt are edged with white, sky blue and black pinstripes in a tribute to the all white shirts worn by the Glasgow District sides prior to the professional era.

A new sky blue and grey camo design has been brought to the training range, featuring prominently on the Training Shirt and Poly Dry Training T-shirt.

Glasgow Warriors managing director Nathan Bombrys praised the new kit, saying: “Macron have once again produced an outstanding kit for us, which celebrates the heritage of our club, and we look forward to seeing the team wearing it in front of a packed Scotstoun. The shirts incorporate elements of our past, present and future, and provide a real sense of our club culture and values.”
