On the 27th July 2020, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Rugby Sevens will kick off, with 3 days of men's competition followed by 3 days of the women's event.
The Olympic Sevens will be played at the Tokyo Stadium, which hosted 8 matches during the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Qualifying for men's tournament began with the 2018/19 World Rugby Sevens series, where the top four teams at the end of the season secured their spots. Japan qualify automatically as hosts, and 6 more places were determined through regional tournaments in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Oceania, with the last spot coming from a Final Olympic Qualifying Event in June.

The final make-up of the Team GB squads will be determined by the British Olympic Association.
Sevens made it's Olympic debut in 2016, and a thrilling tournament saw Fiji win their first ever medal in the men's competition, beating Team GB to gold in the final, while Australia defeated neighbours New Zealand in the women's event.
Here at First XV Rugbystuff.com we will be stocking the official Team GB Sevens kit, when it is released by Adidas in Spring 2020. The 2016 offering - pictured below - was extremely popular, and we image the 2020 shirts will sell just as well! Keep checking back for more information when we have it.
