Step-by-Step Guide to Scanning Your Bobble Hat
The NFC chip that connects you to your bobble hats portal of exclusive content, access and offers:
- Unlock Your Phone: Make sure your phone is unlocked and ready.
- Hold Your Phone to the England Rose Badge: Gently tap or hold the back of your phone close to the NFC tag (usually within 1-2 inches).
- Wait for the Notification: Your phone will recognise the tag and show a notification or link on your screen.
- Tap the Notification: The portal will now open or you will recieve a notification link – simply tap the notification or link, and you’ll be directed to the portal.
Further Instructions
For iPhone Users:
- iPhone XS and newer: Your phone has NFC scanning built right in! Simply unlock your phone, hold it near the NFC tag (usually marked on the product), and a notification will pop up. Tap the notification to open the content.
- iPhone 7, 8, X: You’ll need to use Control Center. Swipe down, tap the NFC icon, and hold your phone near the NFC tag to scan.
- iPhone 6 and older: Unfortunately, these models don’t support NFC scanning.
For Android Users:
- Most modern Android devices: NFC scanning is automatic! Unlock your phone, hold it close to the NFC tag on the product, and a link will appear. Tap the link to access the experience.
- If no notification appears: Check that NFC is enabled. Go to Settings > Connections (or Wireless & Networks) > Enable NFC, then scan again.
Troubleshooting
- Hold your phone close to the NFC tag—about 1–2 inches away—for a second or two.
- No response? Try moving your phone slowly over the tag until it activates.
- Ensure your phone’s screen is unlocked when scanning.
Personalisation is available on a variety of items and includes printed initials, names and numbers.
Select the shirt printing option from the drop down box if available and fill in the fields with the exact information you require. Please double check all spelling and number choice as what is entered is final.

The shirt printing process normally takes us less than an hour to complete so should not affect your dispatch time. Bespoke design ensures the name and number fit perfectly on your choosen rugby kit.
Initials - £3 - Up to 3 characters, usually printed on the hem on shirts. Printed above the brand logo on shorts or below on track pants.
Names - £6 - Up to 12 characters, printed across the shoulders.
Numbers - £6 - Up to 3 numbers, printed across the back.
Name & Number - £10 - Up to 12 characters for the name and 3 for the number. Printed across the shoulders and back.
Please note, once an item has been printed, we are unable to accept it for a return or exchange, except in the case of a manufacturing fault.
