About the Redcliffe Dolphins
The Dolphins became the NRL's 17th team when they entered the competition in 2023, making them the newest club in the league. They are based in Redcliffe, a coastal suburb north of Brisbane in Queensland, and represent the first new NRL expansion team in over two decades. The club plays in red, white and blue, with a fanbase built largely from the Redcliffe and Moreton Bay region.
The Dolphins have an immediate connection to Queensland rugby league history - Redcliffe previously competed in the Queensland Cup and the club draws on a strong community following that predates their NRL entry. Their supporters shirt carries the official NRL branding alongside the Dolphins club colours.
