About Sale Sharks
Founded in 1861, Sale Sharks are one of the oldest clubs in English rugby and have played at the CorpAcq Stadium (formerly known as the AJ Bell Stadium and Salford Community Stadium) in Salford since 2012. The club won the Premiership title in 2005/06 and has twice lifted the European Challenge Cup, in 2001/02 and 2004/05. Under Director of Rugby Alex Sanderson, Sale remain a regular fixture in both the Gallagher Prem and European competition.
