Step into the spirit of leadership, legacy, and connection with the 2025/26 Māori All Blacks Jersey – Te Tauihu Matua. Designed by renowned Ngāti Tūwharetoa artist Kahurangi Falaoa, this jersey is more than kit; it’s a taonga (treasure) woven with meaning, pride, and purpose.

Inspired by the figurehead of a waka taua (Māori war canoe), Te Tauihu Matua symbolises standing at the bow—facing the future with courage. Every detail reflects the balance, strength, and agility required of a Māori All Black, honouring whakapapa and the journey of excellence.

Key Design Elements:
• Two Manaia Guardians – Representing Tū (god of war) and Rongo (god of peace), these kaitiaki embody balance and protection.
• Pūhoro Patterning – Found within the manaia, this traditional kōwhaiwhai design signifies speed and agility.
• Waka Taua & Tētēkura Motifs – Symbolising unity, strength, and the courage to lead through turbulent waters.
• Te Ara Poutama (Player Jersey only) – A tribute to Tāne’s ascent for knowledge, representing the players’ personal sacrifice and pursuit of excellence.

Crafted from 100% polyester in partnership with adidas and New Zealand Rugby, this jersey was blessed in Wellington and will debut against Japan XV in Tokyo. It’s a powerful expression of Māori identity, worn with pride by the team and now available for fans who share in their journey.
